Up early for us and around 9am Debbie and I took Hamish for a walk into town. I don’t know if we’re getting fitter with all this walking, despite eating so much at the festival, but it definitely seemed easier than yesterday.
I banked a cheque at the Nationwide from TrustFord Service who apparently don’t have garages in Wales so gave me a refund then we went for an alfresco breakfast at Luigi’s watching the crowds build up for today’s festival. To be honest the weather seems a lot colder today so I’m glad we went yesterday.
On the way back we went a slightly different route and passed by the Abergavenny cinema on Baker Street, this had been recommended to us by the fireplace salesman as having old fashioned tickets so as I’m writing this blog I’ve just signed up for email alerts as to up and coming films we might want to see – Everest being one of them – and Spectre next month!
Back home to find James a bit lukewarm about the Festival, so decided on ordering instead an end of season Tuscany bistro set (round table & 2 outside chairs for the rear patio) from Homebase, ready for next year, just about the same price as my Ford refund!
A quiet day today methinks after all the rushing around of previous weeks.
