Close Encounters of the Equine Kind

Yesterday Debbie and I finally donned our walking boots and plucked up the courage to do our first longer walk on the top of our local Blorenge (rhymes with orange) mountain.  We stopped off at Waitrose to get emergency rations first (old army saying, “any fool can be uncomfortable”) then took the Galaxy to Keeper’s Pond at the stop, our start and finish point for a ridge walk.

Half way into the trek we spied on the horizon wild horses which seemed to get bigger as we approached them…  See what you think!

Wild horses wouldn't get me up there!

Thank God they’ve gone….

The wind was blowing fresh air through our lungs, thank goodness for Berghaus fleeces and warm gloves!
